Congratulations! I tried downloading it as a remote site in Eclipse 3.4.1. I got an error message saying I was missing a required component
org.eclipse.equinox.p2.iu/org.eclipse.swt/[3.4.0.v3448f,3.4.0.v3448f]].
I get two update sites in Eclipse: updates/CE-RC and updates/CE-R
The issue above occured on CE-RC
I then updated my Eclipse distribution, restarted and selected CE-R.
Now installation started and I then got this error after a while:
An error occurred while collecting items to be installed

Any ideas on what needs to be done?

Hi Marc -
I was just informed that our plugin links were incorrect on our site. Please accept my apologies as this may have caused your errors. What you will need to do is remove all the old skyway update links through the Manage Sites button, and then add the following: http://downloads.skywayperspectives.org/builder/updates
We have updated our download site with the correct links at http://www.skywayperspectives.org/portal/web/guest/182

Hi,
I tried this one ‘ http://downloads.skywayperspectives.org/builder/updates‘ (on my Eclipse 3.4.2 Java EE on Linux) and I get this error message:
Cannot complete the request. See the details.
Cannot find a solution satisfying the following requirements org.eclipse.swt [3.4.0.v3448f].

For some reason the associate files aren’t being properly configured in Eclipse Ganymede for Linux. I worked around this by manually adding the ganymede update site (http://download.eclipse.org/releases/ganymede). You should still only need to select the Skyway Visual Perspectives option to install, but now the associate site will be available to resolve any of Skyway Builder’s additional Eclipse Ganymede dependencies.
I didn’t have this problem when installing into Fedora Eclipse using yum, but I did have this problem when I installed in Eclipse that was downloaded from Eclipse.org.
I also updated the general instructions for installing Skyway Builder plugins into Eclipse.
http://www.skywayperspectives.org/portal/web/guest/182
Good luck, and let me know how the install goes.

Hi,
I’m trying to install Skyway builder 6.2 into my ganymade under Mac OS X, but resulting an error as follow :
Cannot complete the request. See the details.
Cannot find a solution satisfying the following requirements org.eclipse.ui [3.4.2.M20090204-0800].
Any idea how to resolve this?
Thanks in advance

Hi Heikal,
There are a couple things that could be going on with the Eclipse Updater (aka P2).
1. The metadata repository is corrupt. Doing a refresh, or re-adding the sites in question sometimes helps
2. The associate sites were not loaded when the Skyway URL was added. See the sites in steps #4 and #5 on this wiki page. Ensure you have those: http://www.skywayperspectives.org/wiki/index.php/RSA_Installation#Installation_Instructions
3. The org.eclipse.ui plug-in installed is an earlier version. Check the version in File > About > Plug-in details and let us know what version you see.

Dave

Hi Dave,
Thanks for your prompt reply. I already add manually also all update site and even update all installed plugins on my eclipse but still not worked :) My eclipse UI version is 3.4.2.M20090204-0800.
Problem solved by using fresh eclipse 3.4.1 and put features and plugins folder from Skyway Builder that I download it before to eclipse dropins directory. Now what I need to to is add all plugins that I have before in my 3.4.2.
Skyway builder is really awesome, it makes spring development easier and faster. Looking forward for webservice feature came into community version also :D
Cheers,
