The RentACar sample project details a top down development approach starting with a UML design using Skyway’s Spring profile, and then transforming the UML models into a Java Spring application using Skyway Builder RSA Edition.

The intended audience for this sample project is architects, developers, and designers who are familiar with UML concepts and the IBM Rational suite of products.

An archive for this sample project is available for download (RentACar).  To import select "Import-->General-->Existing Project" and select the downloaded project archive file.

Notes:

• Skyway Builder RSA Edition - This project was tested with latest GA version of Skyway Builder RSA Edition.  If you are using an earlier beta version of Skyway Builder, or the Community Edition, you are encouraged to register for a Test Drive of the latest version of Skyway Builder RSA Edition.
• Database Connection - The project's data store is configured for a database connection called "SkywayDB".  To deploy this project, you will need to either create a database connection called "SkywayDB" or reconfigure the Data Store to use your own database connection.
