Enterprise Edition, or EE, is the commercial version of Skyway Visual Perspectives. EE provides all of the power and extensibility provided in CE, but also provides many features and ease of use functions for enterprise users. While you can use and build web services in Skyway CE by using any of the standard Web Service frameworks, EE provides a DSL for Web Services and embeds the CXF web services framework from Apache. EE provides for web service consumption, turning business logic modeled via CE into web services, and contract first development. EE also provides specialized support for most JEE containers such as JBoss, Oracle, and WebSphere both as web applications and full JEE epplications deployed as EAR files. EE also provides many ease of use functions for building AJAX, configuring Spring Security through a powerful and simple UI and many other enterprise class features.
